AEM Technical Architect
Job Title: Location: Remote, US
Rate: Market on contract
Time zone: PST
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of AEM based technical efforts, delivering user-centric solutions to run the business, and deliver product roadmap features, while driving the technical discovery/conceive and team ramp of project launches
- Design, architect, implement high integrity, scalable, extensible, and durable solutions to meet business and technical objectives
- Develop and deliver proof of concepts and build out the tasks for production ready
- Establish and ensure conformance to technology/tools, architectural standards, and practices to enable the AEM competency and project teams, and mentor and share technical knowledge with the entire technical team.
- Help build a backlog with the correct level of detail and priority given project timeline and other constraints.
- Ensure timely development to ensure project success, working with internal and vendor teams, and conduct code reviews and provide technical oversight to AEM development teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience prototyping, launching software products, and 3 years of experience with AEM software design and architecture.
- Experience leading teams, launching enterprise platforms using AEM, including integrating with 3rd party systems.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Proficiency with Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server.
