The Associate Data Analyst will have an immediate connection to our Values (People, Service, Quality and Innovation). RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build/Monitor/Troubleshoot Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) nightly jobs
- Curate, analyze and develop new attributes and metrics from disparate data sources and integrate with existing data warehouse.
- Create automated reporting using tools like MicroStrategy, Microsoft Reporting Services, Tableau.
- Discover and recommend business opportunities through data analysis.
- Answer and resolve on demand business inquiries and analysis.
- Provide timely status updates on projects and initiatives.
- Self-driven ability to gather data and documentation to support optimization and company vision.
- Completes post-mortem analysis to highlight areas of opportunities and planning adjustments.
- Other duties as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
- Schedule flexibility to see a project/analysis to completion which commonly require working nights and/or weekends.
- Understanding of basic supply chain metrics, processes, and practices.
- Ability to analyze and sort large amounts data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Ability to exercise judgment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to easily communicate with associates and business leadership.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple activities simultaneously.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Strong SQL knowledge (verification required)
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data awarehouse concepts
- Proficiency in Extract, Transform and Load procedures. Microsoft Intergration Services (SSIS) Experience a plus.
- Familiarity with Cloud providers (AWS, SnowFlake)
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Familiarity with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Familiarity with MicroStrategy
- Advanced MS Excel skills: Including advanced formulas, macros, and tables.
EDUCATION
- Associates degree (or advanced) in a Science or Technical Field: Bachelor’s degree desired
